1. ABOUT SECONDÈ 

SECONDÈ is a UK-based luxury resale business specialising in authenticated, pre-owned designer fashion, handbags, shoes, and accessories. 

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all items sold are pre-owned. 

2. PRODUCT CONDITION & DESCRIPTIONS  

All items are carefully inspected and described accurately to the best of our knowledge. 

As pre-owned pieces, items may show signs of wear consistent with prior ownership. Condition details, written descriptions, and photographs form part of the item listing and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase. 

Minor imperfections consistent with normal pre-owned use are not considered faults. 

Condition assessments are made in good faith using recognised industry standards. Perceptions of wear may vary and do not constitute misdescription where items have been accurately photographed and described. 

Customers are encouraged to request additional images or information before completing a purchase. 

3. AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE  

All items sold by SECONDÈ are guaranteed authentic. 

Authentication is conducted through a combination of: 

Trusted third-party authentication services 

Detailed internal inspections using brand-specific criteria 

Proof of authentication may be provided upon request. 

If an item is claimed to be inauthentic, written confirmation from a recognised and reputable professional authentication service must be provided within 7 days of delivery. SECONDÈ reserves the right to independently review and verify such claims before issuing any refund. 

If verified as inauthentic, a full refund will be issued. 

4. PRICING & PAYMENTS 

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated. 

Prices reflect factors including condition, rarity, market value, and authentication or sourcing costs. 

Payment must be received in full before dispatch. 

SECONDÈ reserves the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch in the event of pricing errors, availability issues, suspected fraudulent activity, or other reasonable grounds. In such cases, a full refund will be issued. 

5. ORDER CONFIRMATION & CONTRACT FORMATION 

A legally binding contract is formed once: 

Full payment has been received, and 

You receive confirmation that your order has been accepted. 

SECONDÈ reserves the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch with a full refund. 

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY 

All items are shipped using tracked and insured delivery services. 

Dispatch times will be confirmed at the point of sale. Delivery time frames are estimates and not guaranteed. 

SECONDÈ is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs processes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 

7. RISK & OWNERSHIP 

Ownership of goods passes to the buyer once full payment has been received. 

Risk transfers to the buyer upon confirmed delivery of the item. 

If an item arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, customers must notify SECONDÈ as soon as reasonably possible and provide supporting photographic evidence where applicable. 

8. RETURNS & REFUNDS 

Returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. 

Please review the Returns Policy carefully prior to purchase. 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

SECONDÈ is not liable for: 

Normal wear and tear consistent with pre-owned items 

Damage occurring after delivery 

Improper use, storage, cleaning, or alteration of items 

Third-party authentication opinions that differ from ours unless formally verified in accordance with Section 3 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful, including liability under applicable UK consumer protection legislation. 

10. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE 

SECONDÈ reserves the right to refuse service, cancel transactions, or decline future orders where misuse, suspected fraud, unreasonable return behaviour, or abusive conduct is identified. 

11. WEBSITE USE 

By using this website, you agree not to: 

Engage in fraudulent activity 

Attempt unauthorised access to systems or data 

Introduce malicious software 

Reproduce, copy, or exploit website content without permission 

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where misuse is identified. 

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All website content, including but not limited to text, imagery, branding, logos, graphics, product descriptions, and design elements, is the property of SECONDÈ unless otherwise stated. 

No content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written consent. 

13. FORCE MAJEURE 

SECONDÈ shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, governmental actions, supply chain interruptions, or technical failures. 

14. PRIVACY 

Customer information is handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation. 

Personal data will never be sold and will only be shared with third parties where necessary to process orders or comply with legal obligations.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT  

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Returns Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SECONDÈ and supersede any prior discussions or communications. 

16. GOVERNING LAW 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. 

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
